Sangha joins Ashton on loan

12 September 2018

Midfielder Jordon Sangha has joined National League North side Ashton United on loan until January.

The 20-year-old, who has previously had loan spells at Telford and Leamington, joins United with immediate effect and will be available for Saturday's match against Hereford.

“I just wanted to get some minutes," said Sangha, who has made one appearance for the Saddlers this season.

"Walsall got in touch with their gaffer and got my name out there and they said they would have a look at me.

“I went to training and they said they would have me.

“I just want to play football.

"Their gaffer has said that I will play for them and that is all Dean Keates wants - for me to get games and hopefully it will be good for me.

“If you look at the likes of George Dobson, Jack Fitzwater and Connor Ronan, they are all playing first-team football and that is the aspiration for me.”
