Dylan Parker, Callum Cockerill-Mollett and Dan Vann joined players last week on Walsall FC Community Programme’s Summer Soccer Schools.
The young Saddlers not only greeted the children but took part in their free time and played matches with the group.
Additionally, the players also spent time signing autographs for the children and posed for photos with many of the young players there that day.
Many of the children who take part in Soccer Schools are big Walsall FC fans and were more than excited to meet the Saddlers players.
Martin Manley, Manager for Engagement at Walsall FC Community Programme, said “It was great to see all the kids this summer, and that the players are willing to come to Soccer Schools to show their support.
“A lot of Walsall fans attend our Soccer Schools so it’s amazing for them to meet some of the pros”.
Soccer Schools will be returning in October half-term for those interested in joining and potentially meeting the players.
In the meantime, our Saturday sessions will continue to run every weekend throughout the year for 3-14 year-olds. For more information, please visit www.walsallfccp.co.uk/satsoccer/
