The Saddlers played host to Middlesbrough U21s in our second group match of the Checkatrade Trophy on Tuesday night.
Thanks to the competition sponsors, we were able to offer our Walking Footballers, along with their children and grandchildren, the chance to form a Guard of Honour as the players entered the pitch for kick-off.
Not only did they get the unique opportunity to be flag bearers for the game but they also received tickets to watch the match and see the Super Saddlers run out eventual 3-1 winners.
We hope that everyone enjoyed the experience and the game, and we would like to thank Checkatrade again for the tickets.
