It was a mixed bag of results for Walsall’s loanees this weekend.
Tobias Hayles-Docherty and Jordan Sangha enjoyed wins at Halesowen Town and Ashton United respectively.
Joe Slinn, who is on loan at Rushall Olympic, was part of an entertaining 2-2 draw, but there were losses for Callum Cockerill-Mollett and Cameron Peters.
Hayles-Docherty started on the bench for Town but was introduced just 39 minutes in, replacing injured goalkeeper Daniel Platt, as striker Lee Hughes ended up in goal.
With two minutes of normal time left to play, Town found themselves ahead as Asa Charlton headed home the only goal of the game.
Elsewhere, Sangha also enjoyed some late jubilation as Ashton scored a 92nd-minute winner after going a goal down inside the first minute.
Goals from Liam Martin and Bradley Jackson were enough to secure all three points for United.
It was a different set of results for Peters and Cockerill-Mollett, though.
Peters started for Bromsgrove Sporting, making his eighth appearance since joining them in the middle of August, but was on the wrong end of a 3-1 scoreline.
The forward has scored six goals during his time with Sporting, including a hat-trick against Aylesbury United.
There was also disappointment for Cockerill-Mollett, who played the full 90 minutes of Telford United's 1-0 loss to Blyth Spartans in National League North.
