Walsall stars George Dobson and Kieron Morris met youngsters at Goldsmith Primary Academy.
The Saddlers players were introduced to the Year 5 pupils during their archery practice where they gave their best attempts in front of the group.
Dobson and Morris then held a Q&A session with the children, where they answered many football-based questions prepared by the class.
The Walsall players also signed autographs and posed for a group photo with the youngsters.
Paul Larvin, Manager for Education at Walsall FC Community Programme, said: “It was great to have the players visit the children at Goldsmith. They asked some very good questions and George and Kieron gave some interesting answers too.
“We hope bringing the first-team players into schools can inspire the children to aim high.”
