Saddlers players Liam Kinsella and Morgan Ferrier visited pupils at Whetstone Field Primary School this week.
The players were introduced to the students during an assembly in which they held a Q&A session with the whole school.
They answered many football-based questions prepared by the children and spoke about their experience as footballers.
Following on from the assembly the Walsall players also signed autographs and posed for photos with the youngsters.
A Group of Years 5 and 6 students at the school, that are taking part in a Premier League Reading Stars programme with Walsall FC Community programme, got the chance to meet and have a photo with the players.
Alex Moore, who is delivering the Premier League Reading Stars sessions, says ‘It is important for the children to get these opportunities as a reward for their hard work, its also a good inspirational tool to make the children realise how important reading is in everyday life and shows them how its used through the sport.’
