Saddlers goalkeeper Liam Roberts has been named Community Player of the Year for the 2017/18 season.
Roberts has attended several player visits with Walsall FC Community Programme throughout this campaign.
These include SoccerSchools, education projects, football presentations and the squad’s annual hospital visit at Christmas.
Community Director, Adam Davy, said: “Liam is a deserving winner of this year’s PFA Community Champion award.
“He clearly understands the football club’s role off the pitch, and the importance of having a positive impact on the Walsall community.
“As a Community Programme, we’d like to extend thanks to all of the first team players and staff who have been fantastic to work with on appearances in the community this season.
“We’re looking forward to continuing this into 2018/19…”
