Jon Whitney is hoping the Saddlers can put a “spanner in the works” of Shrewsbury's promotion bid.
Paul Hurst’s Town sit second in League One and reached the Checkatrade Trophy final with a 1-0 win over Yeovil on Tuesday night.
“It’s a great challenge and one we’re looking forward to," said the boss.
“A special mention to Paul and [assistant-manager] Chris [Doig] for what they’ve done and getting the team to Wembley.
“It’s a tremendous achievement that they’ve kept themselves in the top three all season – similar to ourselves a few years back.
“But hopefully we can go there and put a spanner in the works.
“We’ve got ten games left and can finish really strongly.
“It’s about what we do now and whether we can keep pushing towards that top half.”
A limited number of tickets will be available to purchase on the day tomorrow. These will be cash only.
