The Saddlers will entertain Championship side Aston Villa in a pre-season friendly at the Banks’s Stadium on Tuesday 17th July, kick-off 7.45pm.
Steve Bruce’s men finished the 2017/18 campaign in fourth place but missed out on promotion back to the Premier League after losing 1-0 to Fulham in the Championship play-off final at Wembley.
The Villans have been regular visitors here in pre-season and provided the opposition for the first-ever match at Bescot in August 1990.
Last season’s friendly fixture between the sides ended goalless in front of over 7,000 spectators.
