Walsall sign Julien Ngoy on loan from Stoke City

31 January 2018

Walsall Football Club can confirm that we have signed Belgian forward Julien Ngoy on loan for the rest of the season from Premier League side Stoke City, subject to FA, EFL and Premier League clearance.

The 20-year-old striker has made six Premier League appearances for The Potters, making his debut for City against Arsenal in December 2016.

And Ngoy will spend the rest of the season at the Banks’s Stadium after the loan deal was completed late on Transfer Deadline Day.

Ngoy was born in Antwerp and began his youth career at Anderlecht, moving on to Club Brugge before Stoke signed him in April 2014.

The young forward boosts manager Jon Whitney’s striking options heading into the remainder of the Sky Bet League One season.

Ngoy is our third signing of Transfer Deadline Day following the loan arrivals of Krystian Bielik from Arsenal and Jack Fitzwater from West Bromwich Albion respectively.

We can confirm Ngoy is our final signing of the January transfer window, which has now closed.
