Community Programme runs more Soccer Schools as Saddlers stars join in

5 January 2018

Walsall FC Community Programme ran more Soccer Schools during the week with Saddlers stars taking part.

The two-day January course gave youngsters the chance to enjoy hours of football during their school break.

Saddlers captain Adam Chambers and goalkeeper Liam Roberts also surprised the children yesterday.

The two Walsall FC stars joined in with small-sided matches in the afternoon, before signing autographs and taking photos at the end of the day.

Walsall FCCP will be offering more Soccer Schools in 2018, with the next courses taking place during February half-term and featuring more Walsall FC player appearances throughout the year

Community Manager Martin Manley said: “It’s fantastic we are able to provide children with football courses during the holidays with our Soccer Schools.

“Walsall FC players visiting makes it extra special for the youngsters, who are able to meet some of their heroes.”
