Saddlers players visit Isabella Lyttle book launch

6 February 2018

Saddlers players Luke Leahy, Liam Kinsella and Jordon Sangha dropped by Tesco Extra last weekend to support Isabella Lyttle at the launch of her new book!

Ten-year-old Isabella has written a fantasy book called The Secret Adventure of the Fantasy Friends while undergoing treatment in hospital for Neuroblastoma.

The book will hopefully raise funds towards Isabella’s treatment and according to Mark Lyttle, Isabella’s father, the launch raised more than £2,400 over the weekend.

Luke, Liam and Jordon have all met Isabella in recent months - Luke donated a fee to the fund after our home game against Rotherham while Jordon and Liam were special guests at music festival Lyttle Fest - and the trio were joined by mascot Swifty on the day.

“It was a great success at the weekend,” said Mark.

“The lads were brilliant and helped generate a real buzz at the store, and we raised more than £2,400.”
