Saddlers winger Josh Ginnelly has been nominated for November’s League One Goal of the Month for his strike against Sunderland.
The 21-year-old scored the second goal of the game for Dean Keates’ side which put us 2-0 up against the Black Cats.
Unfortunately, goals from Aiden McGeady and Lynden Gooch clawed Sunderland back to 2-2 with each team having to settle for a point in the end.
Ginnelly’s goal came from the left-wing as he cut inside two defenders before firing into the top right corner.
He is up against Ali Crawford from Doncaster Rovers, who has been nominated for his effort against AFC Wimbledon, and Marcus Maddison of Peterborough United, who ended his eight-month spell without a goal with a long-distance strike also against AFC Wimbledon.
