Walsall FC Community Programme are offering individuals the opportunity to form the Guard of Honour as the Saddlers head onto the Banks’s Stadium pitch against Blackpool.
Children can book a place as an individual flag bearer for the game on Saturday 1st September, instead of the usual group bookings.
At £25 per person, each flag bearer receives a one-hour coaching session, an adult and junior match ticket and a photo opportunity on the stadium pitch, as well as flag bearer duties.
There will also be a prize draw at the end of the game where one lucky flag bearer will receive a Walsall FC signed football.
Community Director, Adam Davy, said: “We’re pleased to be able to offer flag bearer experience to individuals again, following its success last season.
“As a club we pride ourselves, particularly through the community scheme, in providing opportunities to engage with the club.
“Usually we offer the flag bearer experience out to groups, such as local teams. We recognise that there are a number of children who would love to be a flag bearer but do not necessarily have the opportunity as part of a group.
“We realise what an exciting and memorable opportunity it is for children to form the Guard of Honour, be part of the pre-match excitement and get close to the first-team players.”
There are 16 places available for the Blackpool game, on a first-come first-served basis. Terms and conditions apply. To book your place, please email community@walsallfc.co.uk.
