30 October 2017

Liberty Support Services were invited to attend a recent Saddlers match at the Banks’s Stadium and meet their sponsored player Mitch Candlin.

The 17-year-old striker signed his first professional contract in August, keeping him at the club until 2020, and presented service users with a signed Saddlers shirt at pitch side.

Liberty Support Services are a care provider who have been providing support across the borough of Walsall and the Black Country since 2012.

The service are contracted by Walsall’s local authority to provide support to vulnerable adults aged between 18-65 diagnosed with learning difficulties, autism and mental health issues.

The range of services provided by Liberty include 24 hour supported living, community support, emergency respite and reablement.

“Liberty Support Service users are proud and honoured to be invited as guests to the Banks’s Stadium,” said Regional Service Manager Anthony Decola.

“We would like to thank Walsall Football Club for presenting a signed shirt pitch-side to our service users, creating a long-lasting and special occasion for all.”
