It is with great sadness that the club have today learnt of the passing of club stalwart, Horace Brisbourne.
Horace was known by many at Walsall FC, having worked at the club for 40 years.
Horace was the club’s Match Official Liaison Officer and Matchday Mascot Co-ordinator.
He arrived at Fellows Park in the late 1970’s and in 2013, was awarded a Long Service Award.
He continued to work at the Banks’s Stadium up until his illness at the beginning of the current season.
Highly thought of by everyone at the club from Directors to players, staff to supporters; he will be sadly and truly missed.
Our thoughts are with wife Brenda, the family and all of Horace’s friends at this very sad time.
