Des Francis is to embark on a 206-mile walk from Walsall’s Banks’s Stadium to Plymouth’s Home Park in aid of the Happy Days Children’s Charity.
The 50-year-old Argyle fan is to begin his mammoth journey on Boxing Day, with the intention of arriving in Plymouth ahead of the Saddlers’ match against the Pilgrims on New Year’s Day.
The walking enthusiast is hoping to raise much-needed funds for the charity, which supports disadvantaged children and their families.
Des is looking for people to support him with his fundraising efforts – and Walsall fans to join him on his journey.
