Community: Kinsella, Ismail and Cockerill-Mollett visit Soccer Schools youngsters

1 November 2017

Walsall FC Community Programme once again hosted Soccer Schools at the Banks’s Stadium last week.

The October courses gave youngsters the chance to enjoy hours of football during the school half-term.

And some Saddlers players also surprised the children throughout the week.

Liam Kinsella and Zeli Ismail visited on Monday and Thursday afternoons, joining in with sessions before signing autographs and posing for photos with the Soccer Schools players.

Callum Cockerill-Mollett presented medals and prizes on the course’s final day on Friday, and youngsters were then able to round off their experience by taking pitchside photos with the Walsall left-back.

Community Manager Martin Manley said: “It’s fantastic we are able to provide children with football courses during every school holiday with our Soccer Schools.

“Walsall FC players visiting makes it extra special for the youngsters, who are able to speak to some of their heroes.

“It was great to have Liam, Zeli and Callum here last week – and I’m sure the children loved meeting them!”
