Striker Daniel Agyei has won the club’s Goal of the Month competition for the second straight month, as voted for by Saddlers supporters.
The 20-year-old’s superb strike against tonight’s Checkatrade Trophy opponents Shrewsbury Town on October 7th won handily with 52% of the overall vote.
Agyei’s right-footed curler from 25 yards out dipped over former Saddler Craig MacGillivray and gave Walsall the lead in what would end in a 1-1 draw against The Shrews.
Erhun Oztumer's fine free-kick against Blackpool came second with 26% of the vote, while Zeli Ismail's Coventry City penalty and Oztumer's first at Doncaster Rovers tying for third place.
Agyei, who is on loan from Burnley, has scored four goals in 11 appearances since signing for The Saddlers on transfer deadline day.
