MCCARTHY NAMED PFA FANS' PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Right-back rewarded for outstanding form...

Jason McCarthy has been named the PFA Fans' League One Player of the Month for January.

The Southampton loanee enjoyed an outstanding month, scoring three goals in four matches – including two at Bury - and impressing with his energetic, all-round displays.

The 21-year-old collected 35% of the public vote, finishing ahead of MK Dons’ Chuks Aneke, Bury’s James Vaughan, Scunthorpe’s Josh Morris, Fleetwood’s Cian Bolger and Bradford’s Mark Marshall.
