A sporting school holiday for children...
Over 400 youngsters enjoyed a sporting school holiday at the Sneyd Sports Camp this summer.Children could try a range of activities, from football and basketball to cricket and kurling (a dry land version of curling), with the camp reaching capacity numbers on most days.
The project took place over the first five weeks of the school summer holidays at Sneyd Community Association in Bloxwich.
It was funded by the 'Mossley Big Local' in partnership with Sneyd Community Association and Walsall Football Club.
Martin Manley, Walsall FC Community Manager for Engagement, said: “It’s fantastic to see a lot of children engaging in a wide variety of activities throughout the summer at Sneyd.
