Saddler duo called up for November internationals...

Liam Kinsella and Andreas Makris have been called up for international duty and will miss our Sky Bet League One visit to MK Dons on 12th November.

Kinsella, 20, will link up the Republic of Ireland under-21 side for their friendly double-header in Spain against Czech Republic (12th November) and Slovakia (15th November).

The versatile youngster made two appearances for the under-19 side last year and will now fly out to La Manga in Murcia hoping to make his debut as part of the under 21 set up.

Meanwhile, Andreas Makris will head back to his birthplace as Cyprus take on Group H’s basement side, Gibraltar, in a World Cup Qualifier (13th November).

The Saddlers summer addition is yet to taste victory in the qualifying campaign and will be looking to provide the firepower to kick-start Cyprus’s efforts to reach Russia in 2018.

To confirm, the club would like to remind supporters that our League One fixture with MK Dons will go ahead as scheduled on Saturday 12th November, 3pm kick-off.
