Captain Adam Chambers was crowned Walsall’s Player and Players’ Player of the Season at last night’s annual end-of-season awards evening.Playmaker Romaine Sawyers won Goal of the Season for his stunning strike at Blackpool in August and was also named the Community Player of the Season.
Left-back Rico Henry picked up the Young Player of the Season prize for the second successive year, with emerging youngster Jordon Sangha earning the Apprentice of the Season accolade.
The Lifetime Achievement award went to former Saddler Kenny Mower, while Vicki Chambers, our Conference and Events Operations Manager, accepted the Long Service award.
Richard Andrews was named Fan of the Season and the inspirational Owen Richards received the first Pride of Walsall FC award.
