24th October 2015 – Colchester 4-4 Walsall – League One

James O’Connor's injury-time equaliser rescued Walsall a point in an eight-goal thriller at Colchester. Romaine Sawyers and Milan Lalkovic gave the Saddlers a two-goal half-time lead, but Colchester hit back through George Moncur and Marvin Sordell. George Evans restored the visitors' advantage, before strikes from Owen Garvan and Darren Ambrose put the U's 4-3 ahead. But O'Connor fired home a 92nd-minute leveller to salvage Walsall a draw.

17th January 2015 – Colchester 0-2 Walsall - League One
Goals either side of half-time from Anthony Forde and Michael Cain earned Walsall a first league victory of 2015. Sanchez Watt and Sammie Szmodics went close for Colchester early on, before Forde nodded home Jordan Cook’s pinpoint cross to put the Saddlers ahead. Colchester’s Alex Wynter headed against the bar, but Walsall sealed victory when Tom Bradshaw set up Cain to tap home on 75 minutes.

6th September 2014 – Walsall 0-0 Colchester– League One
Walsall’s winless start to the 2014/15 season was extended to six matches following a dour goalless draw with Colchester. Both sides were denied by the woodwork in the first half; Colchester’s Freddie Sears fired a crisp first-time strike against the post, while Tom Bradshaw’s looping header hit the bar for Walsall. Anthony Forde went close with a free-kick late on but neither team could find a winner.

Walsall’s 2013/14 campaign ended in disappointment after Craig Eastmond’s freak second-half goal gave Colchester a narrow final-day win. The breakthough came on 56 minutes, when James Chambers’ clearance hit Eastmond and flew past home keeper Richard O’Donnell. Walsall pushed for a late leveller but U’s stopper Sam Walker thwarted Andy Butler, and Clinton Morrison then cleared an effort off the line.

12th October 2013 – Colchester 1-1 Walsall – League One
Andy Taylor’s magnificent 96th-minute free-kick rescued Walsall a well-earned point. Colchester drew first blood on seven minutes, when Freddie Sears rifled a powerful 25-yard strike into the corner. James Chambers’ half-volley clattered the bar and Sam Mantom’s fine effort rattled a post as Walsall pressed. The Saddlers’ equaliser finally arrived deep in added time, as Taylor fired a spectacular 25-yard free-kick into the top corner.
