Forward to stay at Stafford...

Walsall striker Levi Rowley’s loan spell with Stafford Rangers has been extended until the end of the season.

The 18-year-old has made six appearances for his hometown club, who are currently 16 points clear at the top of Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One South.

He joined Rangers on a one-month youth loan at the end of January and made his debut as a second-half substitute in a surprise 3-0 defeat against Kidsgrove.

Rowley was handed his first start in his third outing - a 2-1 victory over Newcastle Town – and has since started a further two matches.

Walsall have the option of a 24-hour recall.
