BRADSHAW CALLED UP TO THE WALES SQUAD

18 March 2016

Striker to link up with Chris Coleman's squad...

Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw has been called up to Wales' senior squad for their upcoming friendlies against Northern Ireland and Ukraine.

Bradshaw, who is the Saddlers' 17-goal top scorer, has represented Wales U19s and U21s but has yet to be capped at senior level.

The 23-year-old received his first senior call-up back in November and impressed manager Chris Coleman despite being an unused substitute in their friendly with Holland.

As a result of Bradshaw’s call-up, Walsall’s match against Shrewsbury, scheduled for Monday, 28th March, has been postponed.

The Saddlers will have three players away on international duty, with Neil Etheridge and Romaine Sawyers called up by the Philippines and Saint Kitts and Nevis respectively.

A new date for the Shrewsbury match will be announced in due course.
