Honours even at Aggborough...
AMADOU BAKAYOKO & JORDAN MURPHY - WORCESTER CITYOn-loan Walsall strikers Amadou Bakayoko and Jordan Murphy both played the full 90 minutes of Worcester’s goalless draw with FC United of Manchester.
Murphy, who scored the first goal of his second loan spell with City at Boston last weekend, saw a first-half effort smothered by FC United keeper David Carnell.
The visiting custodian also thwarted fellow Saddler Bakayoko on two occasions.
First, he got down smartly to push away a powerful low drive after Bakayoko had latched on to a long pass over the FC United defence.
Carnell then kept out Bakayoko’s header from Sam Minihan’s fine cross in the closing stages as Worcester were forced to settle for a point.
The result lifted City up to 14th in National League North, four points clear or the relegation zone, with a game in hand.
Great shift from everyone controlled the game, stay picking up points should have finished the game off but keep smiling on to next game 😀
