WALSALL DRAWN AT HOME TO YEOVIL IN EFL CUP

Saddlers to host League Two opposition...

Walsall have been drawn at home to League Two side Yeovil Town in the first round of the EFL Cup. 

The tie with Darren Way's Glovers, who finished 19th in League Two last season, will take place at the Banks's Stadium during the week commencing Monday 8th August. 

The Saddlers have never played Town in the League Cup, although we have met several times in the league in recent years.

Jordy Hiwula scored the only goal in a 1-0 Walsall win at Huish Park when the teams last met in March 2015, although Yeovil emerged 2-1 victors on their last visit to the Banks's in August 2014.
