Winger departs for the south coast...Walsall Football Club can today confirm that a Compensation Agreement has been reached with Portsmouth Football Club to allow Milan Lalkovic to join the League Two side.
The 23 year-old Slovakian arrived at the Banks’s Stadium last summer, signing a one-year contract following his release from Barnsley.
Lalkovic made 34 appearances during the 2015/16 season, scoring 6 goals.
The club offered Lalkovic a new contract for the 16/17 campaign on improved terms, which the winger rejected.
As the player is under 24, Portsmouth have agreed a compensation package for the acquisition of his signature.
The club would like to thank Milan for his time and wish him all the best for the future.
As per its terms, details of the Compensation Agreement will remain undisclosed.
