“We do a lot of work in the Walsall area so to be able to forge a relationship with the local club and their passionate fan base is something that resonates with our core values.
“We believe it’s essential to create strong and lasting links with the local community and there’s no better of doing that than by striking an affiliation with a local, family friendly football club like the Saddlers.
“We look forward to exploring ways of further developing our relationship in the near future."
Dr.Handy, along with Deputy Accord Group Chair Barrie Blower MBE, paid a visit to the Banks’s Stadium this week to meet Chief Executive Stefan Gamble and player representative Reece Flanagan to mark the partnership.
“It’s great to be associated with an organisation with the stature of Accord Group,” Stefan Gamble added. “The impact of their work can be seen right across the region and we’re proud to have the backing of a non-profit organisation that has helped shaped our local community.
“The initiatives and services that Accord provides should be widely celebrated and we’re extremely pleased they have chosen to sponsor our disabled bay areas along the Community Stand.”
