Smiling Saddlers v Compton Wolves on 13th May 2017...
The Banks's Stadium will be hosting a celebrity football match on Saturday 13th May in aid of the 'Smile for Joel' and Compton Hospice charities.The charity match will see a Smile for Joel team, the Smiling Saddlers, come up against a Compton Hospice side, the Compton Wolves.
All proceeds raised from the event, which is being organised by Sellebrity Soccer and sponsored by Tile Choice, will be split equally between the two charities.
Celebrities including Walsall boxer Martin Gethin, EastEnders actor Jake Wood and ex-Birmingham goalkeeper Maik Taylor will be playing in the charity match.
Three more celebrities have now been confirmed: former England left-back Wayne Bridge, TV Presenter Jeff Brazier and Murder in Successville actor Tom Davis.
Tickets, which are on sale now, are just £10 for adults and £5 for juniors, with VIP tickets priced at £35.
