Youngster to remain at the Banks's until the summer of 2018...
Walsall youngster Liam Kinsella has signed a one-year contract extension that will keep him at the Banks's Stadium until the summer of 2018.The 20-year-old, who can play in midfield or at right-back, has made 13 first-team appearances for the Saddlers since progressing through the club’s youth system.
He has featured on eight occasions this term and scored his first career goal in our 2-0 victory over Burton in October.
“I’m absolutely buzzing,” said Kinsella. “It’s good to have a bit of stability for the next two years.
“My aim is to play more games and to establish myself as a first-team player. It’s been hard to get in the side this season with the team doing so well.
“I’ve played a few games and I look back on my goal against Burton as one of the highlights of my career so far.
“I don’t mind where I play and I’m just working really hard in training. When I’m given an opportunity I always try to do my best and hopefully I can play more first-team games over the next two years.”
