Star studded Saddlers raise money for Margot Martini foundation...
The club are delighted to announce details of the inaugural Margot Martini Cup, which sees a star-studded Walsall Legends team take on Wednesbury Athletic.Chasetown’s Scholar’s Ground will host the game on Saturday 7th May (3pm kickoff) in aid of two year old Margot Martini who sadly passed away after suffering from extremely rare dual lineage Leukaemia complications.
Supporters can purchase tickets on the gate for £4 for adults and £2 for children with under 6’s gaining entry for free.
Proceeds raised on the day will go towards the Team Margot foundation in what will be a day to celebrate Margot’s short but inspirational life.
Saddlers Legend Chris Marsh will manage the Saddlers team, ably assisted by former Walsall defender Stuart Ryder.
The side will be captained by none other than Martin O’Connor with more of the team set to be revealed in the coming weeks.
