SADDLERS TRIO RECEIVE INTERNATIONAL CALL UPS

4 November 2015

Tom Bradshaw gets long-awaited call up...

A HAT-TRICK of Saddlers Players will link up with their fellow countrymen for the forthcoming round of international fixtures.

Romaine Sawyers, Neil Etheridge and Tom Bradshaw will represent their respective nations of St.Kitts and Nevis, the Philippines and Wales, in a mixture of friendlies and World Cup Qualifiers.

Tom Bradshaw’s long-awaited call up will see the Saddlers marksman join Chris Coleman’s men for their friendly with the Netherlands on 13th November at the Cardiff City Stadium.

The 23-year old has made the standby list on numerous occasions but will now form part of a final 23-man squad to play in the Welsh capital.

The prolific frontman has been capped at various youth levels for Wales, including u19s and u21s but has never made the senior squad.

St.Kitts and Nevis regular, Romaine Sawyers is set to line up against European opposition in the form of Andorra (12th November) and Estonia (17th November) in back-to-back friendlies for the Sugar Boyz.

The Saddlers number 10 has been in fantastic form this season, turning in a string of impressive performances whilst scoring six goals in all competitions.

Meanwhile, Filipino stopper, Neil Etheridge will link up with the Azkals for their FIFA 2018 World Cup Asian Qualifiers/ AFC Asia Cup UAE 2019 Qualifiers second round clash with Yemen in Manila (12th November).

The Rizal Memorial Stadium will host the Group H qualifier, with the Philippines sitting in third place behind Uzbekistan and North Korea.

Due to the three international call-ups, the Saddlers League One encounter with Shrewsbury Town (14th November) will be postponed until further notice.
