Big week ahead for Sawyers and The Saddlers...
ROMAINE Sawyers is anticipating an entertaining encounter at the weekend as we take on MK Dons here at Banks's Stadium.Both teams have played some good football this term, with The Saddlers running out 3-0 winners at stadium:mk earlier this season.
"We've already beaten them convincingly this season," said Sawyers. "We've proved what we can do when we come up against footballing sides and a good game is in prospect on Saturday.
"The last time we played them they were on a really good run, but even though they're on a poor run this time, I expect them to be determined to change that. Maybe they'll even be seeking revenge for heavy defeat that they suffered against us at their place.
"Hopefully our plan will work again and we'll get the three points. We're expecting them to come at us, so it makes for a good game in prospect.
"There are three big games coming up over the next week. It would be nice to get on a run and build some momentum. We still believe that we can make the play-offs, but at the same time, we know that we have to get on a run now.
"The opportunity is there for us. The JPT Final is a motivation for us, it's a positive distraction and we're all pushing hard."
