Boss looking forward to JPT clash...

IT'S A tough task against a good Preston North End team who have been able to recruit well recently with the type of player that they have been able to bring in showing the power and size of the club at this level.

That said, we have already played them once this season and beaten them. The opportunity is there for us, but we know that with it being over two legs, the tie won't be won or lost on Wednesday evening.

We're certainly looking forrward to the game as we have worked extremely hard to get here and we know what is there for us if we can get through.

This is one of only two realistic ways that clubs at this level can reach Wembley and we are determined to take the chance. We had some tough games to get to this stage of the competition, but the run has certainly got people buzzing and talking.

We don't want to lose sight of the League, of course, but the progress that we are making in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy is giving us all an added boost and it gives us something to aim for.

I am sure that we will take a decent following to Deepdale and I ask our travelling contingent to really get behind the players and make your voices heard.
