Experienced full-back gives his verdict...

FULL-back, Andy Taylor, has given his verdict on our 4-1 home loss at the hands of Scunthorpe United at the weekend.

"There's a lot of disappointment and frustration," he said. "I can't believe that we got beat, never mind the final scoreline.

"I felt that our general play was pretty good; we started the game well, but you can't defend like that.

"We've gifted them goals and given ourselves an uphill battle. We managed to get it back to 2-1, but we've only got ourselves to blame.

"We've taken the defensive plaudits as a team and we also have to take the criticisms as a team too. I wish I could put my finger on why our recent home form has been so poor.

"The only thing we can affect now is the next game and that's our trip to Colchester on Saturday. Hopefully we will go there and get three points to put us right back up there."
