Wide-man keen to build on the positivity...

TALENTED wide-man, Anthony Forde, is eager to build on the positivity surrounding the club as we return to League business on Sunday with the visit of Gillingham (kick-off 6.00pm).

"There was a great atmosphere here on Tuesday evening and it was a fantastic achievement for the club," he said. "We deserved to get through and now it's a case of building on that positivity.

"Our main focus is always on the next game and we are determined to start climbing the table. There are a lot of games coming up before we can think of Wembley and plenty of points up for grabs in that time.

"We know that we have to be more consistent at home; it's so close in this League that a couple of wins can make such a big difference."

Forde, who joined the club in August, is enjoying getting a regular run of games for the first time in his young career.

"I'm loving every minute of it," he added with a smile. "We're really close as a team, which has been a big help to me settling in here.

"I'd like to think that I am improving all the time; it's a massive difference to what I have been used to, but I am thoroughly enjoying it.

"You learn so much playing at this level week in, week out. It's about being spot-on every game and doing the right things off-the-pitch as well as on it.

"I definitely feel that I am developing as a player and as a person here and it's going really well."
