Midfield man works hard in Bradford mud...

MIDFIELD man, Michael Cain, put in another hard-working shift in the engine room of the side as we battled out a 1-1 draw in the Bradford City mud.

“It was a draining pitch,” he admitted. “We battled hard out there and capped it off with a well-worked goal to take a deserved point in the end.

“The attitude and desire was first-class. Bradford came at us, but we remained focussed and kept our standards high.

“It was a great finish for our equaliser and it came as a reward for the work that we put in. It was a real team effort out there with everyone playing their part.

“Bradford have beaten some top teams this season, so it was a good point in the end.

“There’s another tough game coming up at Preston on Tuesday, but we will go there with the same grit and determination.

“We know all about them and the threats that they possess, but we’ll take the belief and confidence from our result at Bradford and look to build upon it.

“We’re capable of beating anyone in this League and our resilience will come to the fore again on Tuesday.”
