Wide-man prepared for hectic month of fixtures...

IT MAY be the shortest month of the year, but with no fewer than six games scheduled during the month of February, talented wide-man, Anthony Forde, knows that the opportunity is there for us to push on up the table.

"This League is so tight that a couple of wins can still make a big difference," he said. "There are a lot of games coming up this month and it gives us the opportunity to really push on.

"We have to put thoughts of Wembley behind us for the time being and make sure that we get some points on the board and get on a positive run.

"We were thankful for the point against Gillingham in the end, but at the same time, we know that we should have won the game. We dominated the first half and created a lot of chances which, unfortunately, we couldn't take and they managed to get their noses in front.

"I felt that we reacted well to them taking the lead and were unlucky not to grab a late winner. Our focus now turns to picking up three points at Doncaster on Saturday."
