Fans snap up first tickets...
TICKETS for Wembley went on sale to season ticket holders from 9.00am on Friday morning as queues started forming from the early hours.Lifelong supporter, Marc Waterfield, was at the front having arrived at 3.00am, and was joined by Simon Vale and Kay Giles who became the first fans to get their hands on tickets for this historic event.
"It's fantastic," said Waterfield. "I didn't think I'd be at the front of the queue, but this is really special."
"I'm so proud," added Vale. "This is a dream come true and a piece of history. To be the first fans to get tickets is something special."
"I can't wait for the game; it all seems real now I have my ticket," continued Giles. "I'm celebrating being one of the first to get a ticket and hopefully I'll be celebrating when we win the Johnstone's Paint Trophy!"
Manager, Dean Smith, was on hand to chat to supporters early on, whilst the local media were out in force to document the occasion. Swifty also managed to get in on the act!
To mark the 125th anniversary of Johnstone's Paint, they are also on hand to give away three sets of £50 vouchers for anyone who picks a 125 ticket out of a special raffle.
And, once the tickets have been purchased, a Johnstone’s Paint Trophy mini-ball will be available to fans who have a seat number 125 for Wembley.
Fans will also have chance to learn more about the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Team Colours Colour Card and how they can paint their house in Saddlers Red to mark the Wembley experience.
Tickets are on sale to season-ticket holders only - full details of prices and sale dates, can be found here...
