ST THOMAS MORE REPORTER: WALSALL 2-1 BRADFORD

1 December 2015

Arjun Mann's match report...

The saddlers gained 3 points with a 2-1 victory over Bradford City.

The match was truly spectacular and thrilling.

With an early opener from Tom Bradshaw in the 11th minute, and a late winner by Lalkovic, to seal the victory.

Manager Dean Smith, praises his team on their tactical play, “the passing and moving was very good”.

The first ten minutes of the match you can tell that the saddlers had one plan and that was to attack attack and attack and it worked off for them but they also had a bit of defending to do with Bradford city pressing heavily, Smith sums it up saying that “we dealt with it very well” .

At half time Smith says to his men to “ do what is right”, and they followed that up amazingly, defending and attacking it was a performance that we are used to seeing Walsall play.

Smith did also praise the visitors saying that “They're a good team and they've gone seven games without conceding a goal, and were 10 games unbeaten.”

Walsall may have been attacking in the second half but they looked like they were on the back foot, as they had to do a heavy amount of defending, “after half time they made it very difficult for us in the first fifteen twenty minutes."

Walsall next match is against Shrewsbury, and it looks like the Saddlers will go in with a lot of hope and desire to win the match as that’s what there next task is and Smith is backing up his men for the next upcoming match “we deserve to be up their because our performance has been really good” .
