THE DETAILS of our Capital One Cup third-round tie against Chelsea have been released.Dean Smith's men will host the current Premier League champions and Capital One Cup holders on Wednesday 23rd September, kick-off at 7.45pm.
It will be 23-years ago to the day since the two sides last met in the West Midlands. Goals from Dennis Wise, Eddie Newton and Andy Townsend condemned the Saddlers to a 3-0 defeat back in 1992.
Jose Mourinho's will begin their title defence when they arrive at the Banks's, whilst the Saddlers have already claimed the Championship scalps of Nottingham Forest and Brighton in the earlier rounds.
