Boss looks back at our goalless draw with Notts County...

THE SADDLERS shared the spoils with a Good Friday goalless draw with Notts County at a wet Banks's Stadium.

"It was frustrating because we had opportunities to win the game comfortably," he said. "I was pleased with some of our play and the chances we created, the only thing that let us down was our finishing.

"On the whole the performance was good; I would have liked us to have finished the game stronger, but overall we were the superior side.

"Sometimes you need that bit of luck. I felt that we looked at threat at set-pieces and showed plenty of desire, whilst Jordan Cook will wonder how he hasn't scored today as he has come close on a number of occasions.

"Maybe as a team we're lacking a bit of composure in front of goal, but we'll keep working hard and trying to do the right things.

"It's about what we do and whilst we know that Peterborough will provide us with tough opposition on Monday, if we build on the positives from today, we will give ourselves a good chance of getting the result that we desire."
