THE SADDLERS' reserves ran out convincing 7-0 winners at Morecambe.There were seven different goalscorers on the scoresheet as trialist, Chris Sutherland, was joined by James Baxendale, Amadou Bakayoko, Levi Rowley, Jordan Murphy, Rico Henry and Reece Flanagan.
"It was a really pleasing performance and scoreline," said Neil Woods. "As a club we needed that kind of display where we turned our quality of play into goals.
"We were totally ruthless; the attitude of the lads was superb and we played some extremely positive football.
"It's a big lift for everyone and to get seven different players on the scoresheet was great for us.
"We fully deserved this result as we were in control from start to finish."
