GRABBING THE OPPORTUNITY

Hiwual looking to end the week with a win...

HAVING extended his loan from Manchester City until the end of the season earlier this week, Jordy Hiwula, is looking to celebrate by helping The Saddlers make a return to winning ways as we play host to Fleetwood Town on Saturday (kick-off 3.00pm).

"We've got two home games in quick succession, so it is an opportunity for us," he said. "Fleetwood are a good team who have done well this season, but we are confident that we can get the points and start turning our performances into victories.

"This is a chance for us to really kick-on. We maybe need that bit of luck and once that goes our way, I expect everything else to follow.

"I expect Fleetwood to come at us on Saturday because they are chasing a play-off place, so that will suit us and it will make for a good game.

"There are some good footballing sides in this League; the standard is high and it's extremely competitive, which has certainly benefitted my own development.

"I'm really enjoying it here and wanted to stay for the rest of the season. Scoring on my debut gave me the confidence to push on and I feel that I have built from there. I've not scored for a few weeks, but I'd like to think that I have continued to make a contribution.

"The style of play really suits me and I am happy to play through the middle or out wide. We are certainly creating chances and looking solid as a unit, all we need now is to start scoring goals and getting the wins that we deserve."

This will be the first time that we have played host to Fleetwood Town in League action. Earlier this season we became the first team to beat them at Highbury Stadium, so we will be eyeing a double over The Cod Army.
