Boss looks back at goalless draw with The U's...

SADDLERS' boss, Dean Smith, has reflected upon our goalless draw with Colchester United.

"Not hitting the target has cost us today," he admitted. "As has been the nature of our last few games at home, the pressure was on for us to get that goal and win.

"I sensed a nervousness creeping in today; everyone involved with the club knows how important it is to win football matches.

"I can't question the work-rate of the players; we had three young lads out there today and they acquitted themselves extremely well, which is what we are all about as a club.

"We've kept a clean sheet and now we move on to the next game."
