Clean bill of health for The Saddlers...
WE GO into the game with a clean bill of health for the first time in a very long time! Tom Bradshaw is back from his hamstring problem, whilst Sam Mantom was on the bench at Crawley and got an hour under his belt for the reserves on Wednesday, which was a real boost for us.We know that on Tuesday evening we were not clinical enough, whilst in our last home game against Crewe Alexandra we didn't have that nous in the final third.
We should not have been beaten in both games, but there were so many positives to take out of our last performance and if we take these into the games ahead, we won't go wrong.
Football can be a cruel game; if we make sure that we stay together and keep believing, we will be okay.
It's disappointing for the fans when the team is not winning matches, but over the past month or so our performances have been good. We have to make sure that we're consistent, and if we can do that, the wins will follow.
We never look too far ahead; it's always a case of one game at a time. This is a tough League and every game is tough in its own way.
Chesterfield are a good footballing team who did well last season and have had some entertaining games so far this season as they have adapted well to the demands of the higher level.
They will bring a good following, so we're looking forward to it.
