BEN PURKISS put in another assured display in our 1-0 victory at Fleetwood Town on Saturday.
“We were well worth the win,” he said. “We started well and took it from there; I felt that we switched the ball well and dominated possession.
“Other than a spell towards the end, we had good control of the game.
“It was nice to keep another clean sheet. Clean sheets start from the front and we looked solid and well-organised.
“Maybe we deserved another goal for the way in which we attacked and created opportunities; getting that first goal certainly makes a difference for us.
“We rose to the occasion and deserved the victory. It means we extend our unbeaten run in the League and we’re slowly but surely moving towards where we want to be.”
