YOU’RE in for a real festive treat in December as we welcome the one and only Matt Le Tissier to Banks's Stadium for a Christmas Sporting Dinner.The former Southampton ace, who is a regular on Sky Sports’ popular Soccer Saturday programme, will be here on Wednesday, December 10th.
He has a wealth of great stories to share from a lifetime in the game in which he became a Saints’ legend as well as a highly-respected pundit.
Le Tissier, who hails from Guernsey in the Channel Islands, won The PFA Young Player of the Year award in 1990 and went on to remain loyal to Southampton throughout his career, which saw him become the first midfielder to score 100 goals in the Premier League and convert 47 of his 48 penalty kicks for the club.
He is also The Saints’ second highest-ever scorer and has a hospitality suit named after him at St. Mary’s Stadium as well as an apartment block on the site of where The Dell once stood.
A true character, come along and be entertained by ‘Le God’! Tickets are £37.50 each to include a delicious four-course meal and a comedian.
